Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 2026
Goingdefault Septic wants goingdefault.garden to work for everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes our approach. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
What Are We Aiming For?
We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, a widely used standard for accessible websites.
What Steps Do We Take?
To support access, we aim to:
- Use clear headings and a sensible page order
- Add text alternatives to images that carry meaning
- Keep text easy to read with good color contrast
- Let people use the whole site with only a keyboard
- Build pages that fit phones, tablets and computers
- Write in plain, simple language
- Label form fields clearly
Where Might We Fall Short?
Some parts of the site may not fully meet these standards yet. Third-party content, such as embedded tools, may be outside our control. We check the site from time to time and fix problems as we find them.
Need Another Way In?
If part of the site is hard to use, you can still get help. Request a callback to speak with a provider, or email contact@goingdefault.garden and we will do our part to help.
How Can You Send Feedback?
We welcome your thoughts on how accessible the site is. Email contact@goingdefault.garden and tell us:
- Which page or feature gave you trouble
- What happened and what you expected
- The browser, device or assistive technology you used, if you know
We will read your message and aim to reply within a few business days.
Is This Finished?
No. Accessibility is ongoing work. As we update the site, we will keep it in mind and keep making it better.
